Podcast Production Programme
A study of the production model behind a repeatable podcast programme — three shoots a month, edited episodes, and a short-form system built from the same sessions.
Context
This page describes a proposed podcast production model rather than a completed client engagement. It is included to explain how the studio approaches recurring long-form content.
The model under discussion covered three shoots per month, edited podcast episodes, and three standard reels plus one trailer per podcast — a proposed total of twelve short-form videos per month.
The problem with one-off podcast production
A single recording can consume a day of setup and a week of editing, then produce one episode that is published into a crowded feed. The economics only improve when the studio, the format and the publishing rhythm are designed as a system.
That means recording several episodes in a block, capturing enough supporting coverage for clips, and maintaining a consistent visual and audio standard so each episode feels like part of the same show.
The model
Each session is planned for the episode and the derivative assets. The multi-camera setup gives the editor options for full-length video and vertical clips; the audio is treated as a primary deliverable, not an afterthought.
The proposed monthly output combines three edited episodes with the trailer and reel package, giving the show a regular publishing cadence without requiring a full production day for every piece of content.
- Three recording sessions per month.
- Multi-camera video with professional audio.
- Full episode edit and colour/audio finishing.
- Three reels and one trailer per podcast.
- Thumbnails, titles and publishing support.
- A consistent set and visual identity across episodes.
Status
Capability study. This is a proposed production package, not a completed client programme, and no audience or download figures are claimed.
The model can be adapted for a single show, a branded series or a corporate interview format, subject to studio availability.
Keep exploring.
